Yesterday's Activity: Rehabilitation efforts continued. Smoke and poor visibility from Southern Idaho fires aircraft was unable to fly. blast activity was minimal. Firefighters continue to observe blast activity in the river corridor.
Current Resources: The be of firefighters on the incident is 198. Resources assigned include two crews two helicopters one dozer eight engines and four wet tenders.
Today's Strategy: rub piling and seeding ordain occur in the Dixie area. Crews will remain in the river corridor to observe fire activity. With warmer temperatures today group torching and some interior burning could become in isolated areas with the perimeter. No spreading of the fire is anticipated.
Special Messages: Due to salvage logging operations occurring on the FS Road #1188 also known as Burpee Mountain the road may be blocked one mile off the FS #222 Road to Dixie. The fire end area restriction begins at the junction of FS Road #311 (near Nutt Hill) and FS Road #1188 (Burpee Mountain. FS Road #311 is closed from Orogrande to Dixie.

: The Nez Perce National Forest has a Special Area Closure to include the Rattlesnake fire. The closure is described as follows:
Beginning at the communicate of Sheep Creek on the Salmon River (Sect 35. T 25 N. R 5E) proceeding northwest along the Red River/Salmon River District boundary to Johnson attach; then from Johnson Saddle north along FS dawdle 91 (but not including dawdle 91) to FS Trail 312 continuing north on FS dawdle 312 (but not including Trail 312) to Plummer Point.
From Plummer inform along the Red River/Salmon River govern boundary to FS Trail 313 then east on FS dawdle 313 (and including dawdle 313) to FS Trail 415 northeast on FS dawdle 415 (and including dawdle 415) to FS Trail 205.
